Chilean President Michelle Bachelet was in the United States last week, and she brought jokes! And, uh, balls. This is the actual thing she said in front of "a group of prominent U.S. investors":
"Why has there never been a coup in the United States?Bwaa haha! And: wow. Anyway, welcome to the "bad left," Michelle. Let me fix you some coca tea.Because there is no U.S. embassy in the United States."

You're welcome! I thought it was REALLY important that "good leftist" Michele Batchelet was such a "bad girl" to tell a no-no joke like this. It may also say something about the current Bushwhack standing with "U.S. investors," that she felt confident they would laugh. But then she just came from the UNASUR meeting, where she got unanimity to intervene in the Bushwhacko plot in Bolivia (where President Morales has thrown the Bushwhack ambassador out of the country), and it must have been hot in her mind. But this kind of anti-U.S. poetry has been almost the exclusive purview of Hugo Chavez, and sometimes Rafael Correa. Now it's almost EVERYBODY! That's what Batchelet telling this joke means. The revolt is spreading rapidly (even unto Honduras--my God!) Humor--as the Daily Show, SNL and BoRev.net have known all along--is like garlic and crucifixes to the fascist vampires who are eating our world.
Here's another one that made me laugh: When Paraguay, of all places, recently elected a leftist as president --Fernando Lugo, the beloved "bishop of the poor"--after 61 years of rightwing rule, Evo Morales sent him a message: "Welcome to the Axis of Evil!"
