Israel Calls for Venezuelan State To Be Wiped Off The Map!

endtimes.jpgIsraeli President Shimon Peres can't understand how Venezuela could have misinterpreted his harmless little prediction that the Venezuelan people would soon make their president "disappear." He was obviously talking about elections etc. etc., and the fact that he made this little speech in Argentina, world capitol of disappeared lefties, was just a dumb coincidence, so let's all just calm down and see the humor in it, hahaha!

Y'know what this adorable little misunderstanding totally reminds me of? Remember the time that Iranian guy made his own little prediction about Israeli leaders, something about "the regime over Jerusalem" and how it was going to "vanish from the page of time" or whatever? I mean nobody went nutso over those silly remarks, or like, formulated an entire insane blood-spattered foreign policy apparatus around them or anything, so can we all just chill out now, please? Have some Tofurkey.

I still go by Chavez's Ho Chi Minh comparison. Although the LOTR thing works too, in fact, El Chigüire Bipolar had a cartoon of Müller Rojas once with the face made to look a lot like that character from LOTR, and it worked quite well.

He is kind of like a grand old man in politics, was Luis Herrera Campins' appointed governor for Tachira, I think, despite being a known leftist. Apparently spent some time in India as well with UN peacekeeping forces around 1965, after the Indo-Pak war.

LOL, I remember that! He was bitter about it too.

What's Alek Boyd doing these days? I remember when he visited Vzla last time, in 2006, his friends and relatives back in Caracas were doing better than he was in London.

Guys, let's not do Alek Boyd's job for him.

The dots will be connected...

But most Venezuelan soldiers are clean-shaven. Doesn't that mean it's the Chinese running the show?

Nah...that thing is definitely inspired by Fidel & LOTR.

Now it's a good thing Hugo Boss doesn't have the fuzz.
He'd end up looking like the Billy Mays' illegitimate Latino half-brother:

[For those in the global South, Billy Mays is a "famous" infomercial pitch man. Now dead of cocaine abuse, he spent much of his life dazzling us with the stain-removing powers of OXY CLEAN!]

Actually, Chávez compares Müller-Rojas' beard to Ho Chi Minh's. So maybe the Vietnamese are running the place?

One should never spend so much time discussing Teodoro Abuser-Of-Petro-Coffers...

So speaking of General Muller-Rojas, I see he's enthusiastically following Chavez's "all military geezers must maintain wizard beards" decree:

And you BoRevers still deny that Cubans are running the place?

Oh, and his mom is dead btw. There's a story about that too ... apparently he lied in a sworn statement signing for his mom after she was long dead to inherit some of her property (I don't know the details, but there is allegedly some hanky panky there)

He apparently distributes it free to people. (He is apparently married to someone from one of the richest families in Venezuela)

His son had something to do with some fishy deals when Vzla's state airline company was privatized (That was another of his accomplishments as planning minister, btw. Iberia bought it, and then asset stripped it and the company went down under.)

His mom gets one.
His mistress gets one.
His fifth neighbour down the street gets one.

And if his kid pays for a copy, he may even turn a profit that day.

But if his kid wants to put on a red shirt & light it on fire...that's fine too.

Newspapers aren't about circulation & popularity. They're about printing out your personal blog on a big piece of paper.

Just ask Rupert Murdoch:

Utpal Author Profile Page:

That "paper" has a printrun of ... like ... how many?

Oh come on Utpal!
He does run a successful, self-sustaining, newspaper.

Actually, Teodoro was a terrible failure at everything. His stint as planning minister in Caldera's is remembered primarily for 103% inflation in 1996 and oil prices at $7 a barrel (he pushed for Luis Giusti as the head of PDVSA, who worked hard to bring oil prices down).

Utpal Author Profile Page:

Btw, the apartments in that housing complex in Portuguesa that the Iranians built are fabulous. I'd frikkin love to live in one of those.

Utpal Author Profile Page:

@Paul: lol!
You have to remember Teodoro was a terrible failure as a guerilla.

Dear Teodor Petkoff,

It's bad enough that you pass yourself off as a "left wing" economic critic of da BoRev. Apparently, North American reporters haven't discovered your Wikipedia page.

But now you're presenting yourself as a former left wing "guerilla", unable to grasp the value Venezuela's alliance with Iran?

You're on every paper & wire service whining about imaginary bicycles & empty agreements from Tehran. Decrying the fact that Venezuela has nothing to show for all the risk it's taking snuggling up to Iran.

The obvious seems to be flying right over your brilliant military-mind: Venezuela IS importing something else from Iran...related to the activities you supposedly participated in years ago.

Last year, I read "See No Evil" & "Sleeping with the Devil" by former middle-east CIA field operative Robert Baer.

Baer's books, in three unique ways, explore the military arc of Iran. And my god is it impressive. Baer explains how Iran's use of conventional armed power failed miserably during the infancy of the Islamic Revolution. So they converted their defense structure into a low-cost insurgency-based deterrent system.

Lebanon was the proving ground, & thanks to brilliant field commanders like Imad Mughniyah...they managed to drive out the American's at a lesser cost than the Vietnamese. And since that time, they've only improved their tactics, with the most recent example being the tactical humiliation of Israel in Lebanon.

A few years back, in Venezuela, there was a big dust-up between General Muller-Rojas & General Raul Baduel.
As Muller-Rojas explained it, he & Baduel disagreed on the prospect of restructuring the FAN:
- Baduel insisted on maintaining a traditional (high-cost) professionalized force.
- Muller-Rojas would never admit it...but what he insisted on was a near-copy of Iran's defense structure (Artesh, IRGC, Basij...in Venezuelan form).

We all know how that fight turned out: Baduel was pushed out, & Muller-Rojas now leads the PSUV.
- Years ago, they started distributing an introductory manual on assymetric warfare throughout the barracks.
- Chavez has taken to issuing warnings of a 100-year war across Latin America...in response to any American interference. Sound familiar? (Cough! - Iran warning of reprisals by Shia in Lebanon, Iraq, & Saudi Arabia - Cough!)

So, dear Teodoro, when Ahmadinejad says that Venezuela & Iran are destined to be together till the end...he isn't basing this on his exports of factories & bicycles.

Really...you're a former guerilla? :)

Yes, the translation of what the Iranian President said about Israel is still doing the rounds in its inaccurate form. Corporate press will continue to demonize Ahmadinejad ni matter what. Now will the oligarchs go for Lula after he met with the devil incarnate? I doubt it.

I call it poetic justice. You let in the gringo empire, you have it coming. Poor Colombia, if only its main resource were oil, like Venezuela, instead of cocaine...

Utpal Author Profile Page:

Ya know, there was something I was thinking about the other day. Trade between Colombia and Vzla have gone down quite a bit. At the beginning of the flap there were articles predicting dire consequences for Vzla, that it will face food shortages, bla bla bla. None of that seems to have materialized. Colombia, on the other hand is hurting.

That reminds me: Notice how the crapaganda whores have all been awfully silent about Lula? Whatever happened to the good left/bad left dichotomy, anyway?

Shimon Peres will have to 'disappear' Lulu, too, cuz he met with the Forbidden Iranian One this week, and with smiling photographs and all, just like that commie Chavez. The list grows long.

Yep, I figured as much myself. It seems to have a multiple personality--it claims to be the mother of Arpad Magyarosi. Sometimes its English is almost good, and then it breaks down again into incoherent monkey-screech. It's almost sad...but very, very funny in its own unintended way...

I checked -- it's tomorrow. Your spammer needs to go to a therapist, I think, btw :)

Beats me. US Thanksgiving is weird--it seems to last all week.

Utpal Author Profile Page:

Is tomorrow Thanksgiving in the US? Or was it last week?
