In the real world, for Lewd Lew*'s benefit, it means that the "elections" are a farce and don't deserve recognition except for what they are--a dirty joke on democracy. There is NO campaign going on, NO debates--the country is in lockdown! How can an "election" under those circumstances be recognized as anything but fake? I bet most people don't even know or care who the "candidates" are--they're probably all hand-picked by Washington anyway. That may not bother Lewd Lew*, but it should bother any real democrat tremendously.
* I call him that because of his strange fetish for "lesbian nuns", as expressed in the case of Sister Dianna Ortiz, who was tortured in Guatemala while he was working for the US embassy there. Not only did he not lift a finger to help her, he actively aided and abetted her torturers by smearing her name. Lewd--and dirty. That's Lew!

Can you believe US rep to the OAS Anselem's colossal arrogance, and I quote:
--“I’ve heard many in this room say that they will not recognize the elections in Honduras,” Mr. Amselem said at an O.A.S. meeting in Washington. “I’m not trying to be a wiseguy, but what does that mean? What does that mean in the real world, not in the world of magical realism?”
I want to punch this guy in the face I'm so angry. So much for hope and change in Washington. What an absolute asshole!!!
Hopefully, with the majority of the OAS's members not recognizing the "elections," the US will be isolated and this will carry a little more weight thant "magical realism."
